One World--Winner of the Eia 'o Lānaʻi Film and Video Contest, "One World" is a new song about the past, present and future of the beautiful island of Lana'i, and the hopeful realization of Larry Ellison's vision for a sustainable future there.  Lyrics written collaboratively by the Lanaʻi Class of 2020. 2. Singing to the World -- Lyrics written collaboratively by the Lana'i Class of 2020.  Students from the class are on vocals and also in music video, which was featured at two public speaking events given by the Dalai Lama.

3. Smile -- With lyrics by Brooke Belista (Lana'i Class of 2020), and performances by Nyssa Barfield, Jasmine Molina, and Asheya Pagay (all Lana'i Class of 2020), this song and music video is sure to make you smile.

4. The Fraction Song -- With lyrics by Matt Glickstein and Jerod Savage (Lanai 4th grade teacher), this song and music video will help improve your math!

5. Every Day is Earth Day -- Lyrics by students Brooke Belista, Dian Ozoa, and Matt Glickstein.  Performed at Sea Life Park for Earth Day event on April 22, 2012.  Also winner of Project Earth's 2012 Earth Day Contest, as well as the Debris From the Sea contest put on by algalita.org.  See the music video here. 

6. Being Green -- Written by Brooke Belista (Lana'i Class of 2020) as a follow up to Every Day is Earth Day, this song and video will get you on your way to "Being Green." 

7. A Kitty Community -- Song and music video featuring the Lana'i Animal Rescue Center--known as LARC. Music and lyrics by Matt Glickstein, and performances by the Lana'i Class of 2020.

8. Dream What Could Be Done -- Written by the students from the Lana'i Class of 2020 upon request for The Huffington Post's Christine Schanes, who is the director for The Center For Justice and Social Compassion (CJSC) and Children Helping Poor and Homeless People (CHPHP),  and also writes a blog in the area of homelessness.   Music video currently in production, and will be featured on Christine's Huffington Post Blog when completed.

9. Happy Mother's Day -- Brooke Belista (Lana'i Class of 2020) was inspired to write these lyrics as a gift to her mom for Mother's Day.  Music video features the Lana'i Class of 2020 performing this song in honor of Mother's Day.

10. We're Better Than a Class -- The anthem for the Lana'i Class of 2020, and last song on "Songs For a Better World."  Featuring lyrics by Brooke Belista, and performances by the Lana'i Class of 2020.  See the music video here.  

 

11. For Mommy and Daddy (Sandy Hook Tribute)--An original song dedicated to the victims of the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December 14, 2012. Music by Matt Glickstein and lyrics by Tierney Cross. Vocals performed by Nyssa Barfield and Asheya Pagay from the Lanai Class of 2020.  See the music video here.

 

12. Every Day is Earth Day/Let it Grow--A mash up of the original song, "Every Day is Earth Day," and "Let it Grow," from the movie, "The Lorax."  Performed by Lanai High and Elementary students.
